lol... sorry stron... its just i'm so lonely in TV1 with only bots to comfort me... who dont even play... they just sit as spectators... anyone that has come in i've owned 1v1... so they leave and i'm left to twiddle my thumbs again...

Those are called "fake clients" most people filter out servers with those so they will never connect. I personally never connect to a server with "fake clients". Matter of fact I dont even see servers that run fake clients on my server list.

We try different things. Doesnt mean they are staying. Actually most people dont filter out bots/fake. Thats why bots are a popular means of populating servers. I have tested both for years DK. I know what works and what doesnt. If it wasnt for "bots" around here in the past we wouldnt even have servers because the owners would eventually close them due to no players. But anyway.. I was trying it for a day or two. See what happens.
We do whatever it takes to populate the servers. I'll try anything. The 2 source servers are hurting. Merf hates that his tv1 is always empty except for lunch time when his friends go on to jump start it. I hate that my tv4, the CS server is dead 24/7. The servers are good, the pings are fine but yet they are dead. It makes us feel bad already.

Yeah You would think the bots would out already. Wierd they have them for CS and not DOD. Bots is what revived TV3 as well they do work and thats how you build a fan base.

The funny thing is we prob already have a fan base for TV1, all we need is 7-10 players and it fills up fast, the prob is very few people are willing to start up the server.
oh ya please bring back argantan to TV1 standerd maplist all fans of this map will leave once they find out we dont run it. |

Nothing wrong with bots. All the top servers are doing it including PAF! and more people have been joining since they went on.

all i know is i try whenever i can to get it started... i jsut wish we had fully working bots so i had smoething to shoot in the meantime
