you dont join DOD its a multiplayer mod for half life, not a clan.you just down load it and play.

download the game, install the game, play the game. its not that hard. i think u already knew that didnt u

After you installing it you can search for DOD server (filter tab, DOD type game) and simply click on them just like you do to play TFC. It'll switch to the DOD mod and you'll be able to play.
