I hear DirectX 10 is coming out with Vista. Will any of todays graphics cards support DX10 or will we have to buy new ones when it's released?

No current cards support DX10. The 2 first cards are saposed to come out at the end of the year, nvidia's coming out first and ati's coming out at the very end.

Any of the current cards will NOT support dx10. And dx10 cards will only emulate dx8-9. The main reason to wait for dx10 is new effects but they key thing it is 6-8 times faster that dx9.

| i dont remember where but i read that vista will have bot x10 and and enhanced version of x9 on it when it comes out |
