lol..ya I heard that "chuck the pigskin" was another option they are considering and "yet another great thing the west has changed" but last and sure not least was "300 pound athletics"...The last one is true, but it's kind've an oxymoron if you ask me.

The first description of football in England was given by William FitzStephen (c. 1174-1183). He described the activities of London youths during the annual festival of Shrove Tuesday.
Modern American football grew out of a match between McGill University of Montreal, and Harvard University in 1874.
Ok which do u think then came first??? - There is only one proper game called Football - and Manchester United is the biggest club in the world that plays it.
The American football game should have stayed as College Football (or chuckball/throwball/American Rules Rugby, with paddiing and huge helmets)
On that subject how come u will walk onto a large field to play throwball with loads of padding and a helmet but u will ride ur bike at 100mph in a light t-shirt and a jewish skullcap (I have absolutely no problem with jewish skullcap and this reference to them is not to be construde as a slight on anyone of the jewish persuasion, or their skullcap)
So Stevo - we named it first - so there was another game called football

I'm not arguing with the proper names, but I thought it would be better to avoid confusion. But I think everyone is more confused than ever since I mentioned that. Just do what that video said, then. Call American Football Soccer, and we'll do the reverse.
