As all of you SHOULD know, I am a DJ. If you dont know this I will hunt you down  . I am here now to ask for a bit of help. I have come up with an idea for my opening set at bars. I want to play a full hour of "local" music. By local I mean band that does not have a nation wide label. Perferably no label. Their recording must sound professional. It does not have to be in a studio, only sound like it was. And it must be rock music. I play mainly in biker bars, and that is what they like. I would like you it point me in their direction if you think they are a good rock band so that I may ask them for a demo or full CD. All music I get must come from them though, I dont want anyone giving me a link to where I can download their stuff, unless it is their website. I will need contact info, email or website, so that I can check them out, and if I add them to my set I can point others to them. If you know them personally, please put in a good word for me. My whole goal here is to help promote local music

Local as in not known outside of their town I guess. I think there's a few people here who are in garage bands.
You never mentioned you were a DJ DJ George...

By local I mean really any band that you would consider "local". They dont have to be in ohio, they just need to be a band that is tring to make it in the world and has orginal stuff. Basically any band you would find playing in a bar.
