all-star i am afraid you are wrong...they were billing Xmen: Last Stand as the finale...the last X MEN EVER!!!!! and also they did market research to show people don't show up to a movie if it is entitled X men 3...the more sequels to a movie the less the people show up to see it. I will say it again and i will say everytime this comes up...Fox knew they had a stinker on their hands in terms of the way the franchise went...they knew they had a craptastic director so they did what they could and billed it as the final x men movie when everyone who had common sense knew that if it made the right amount of money (which im not sure its made yet) then there would be a 4th one...sure it might go in a different direction...sure it might deal with the government more than mutants...but it is still an X men movie dealing with X men....and not the finale movie that they were trying to bill it as. For proof go read any Hugh Jackman, Bret Ratner, or Halle Berry interview and they were trying to sale it as the final one. It was just a cheap trick to get people to plunk money down cause it "might be the last one" which is wont be...just watch and wait...will all the characters come back nope...but will there be another x-men movie yep yep.
Also the new fantastic four film will introduce silver surfer thus seeing how the public likes him in that will make them make the movie...ghost rider...i wouldn't get your hope sup for a quality film...you can find the trailer somewhere online...and its not so good...but im a sucker and will go see it.

what i read is that they were going to make more "x-men" titled films, and that they are introducing gambit into the film
and i read it was going to be a seperate silver surfer movie
and where the hell did ghost rider come from????? i never read or heard of him, why did they have to go and choose that character to make a film, when more then half the people i talked about the movie don't even know who the hell ghost rider is. god damn film makers they should be shot |

You can always find movie trailers here. Quicktime format so you need the latest version of quicktime to play the trailers. Ghost rider doesnt look promising.

Powder is right though, from what I have read...depending on how this one went (X3), there is a good possibility of more. There are tons of characters they haven't used or introduced yet, and many more story lines that could be adapted. Another reason they wanted to give the masses that this was a "possible" last x-men movie is that in a couple of years you are going to see a Wolverine spin-off movie (word on the street is that it could be based on his origins or him getting the whole details of his origins). I would not rule out an X4 at all (singer even mentioned that he would come back and do it).
As far as Ghost Rider goes..... anyone who has read comics in the last 30 years is familiar with him. He is one of the original Anti-heros in the comic universe and I believe the first to be portrayed as an agent of Satan. The Ghost Rider is the Devil's Bounty Hunter. He hunts down souls that have escaped hell. I agree that this could be an average movie in the terms of story........but the CG looks amazing. I will see it. |

ive read that they are makin a wolverine movie right now cause of his huge popularity...it deals wit his past and his time in japan and what not...hugh has been signed to play wolverine and production is underway
ghost rider will probably suck but eh im still gonna go see it just like i went to see daredevil...stupid ben affleck ruins everything he touches, including J-Lo...hahahaa
yeah x-men will not be made anytime soon. right now they're filming the new batman movie...the villian is most likely gonna be the joker. they were gonna start filmin it earlier but there was contract problems, but now its all good and filiming is underway
but back to the topic...spiderman 3 is gonna be awesome, they did a good job wit the first two and from what ive read and heard the third one is just as good as the other ones. l3eeron said how he thought that the spiderman movies were a lil too soap opera-ish...but i think thats what made them a good movie. you cant have just action cause otherwise u're just sittin there and waitin for the next explosion and what not. and what makes spiderman the great character he is, is his duel life as peter parker and spiderman and how he manages both of them.
the silver surfer movie is new news to me, but i did hear bout ironman coming out...
for all you religious folk, the nativity is coming out in december and im pretty sure its gonna be amazing, probably on par wit passion of the christ...

so are they gonna like redo all the old batman movies, like in the order they were when they first came out. so the next batman movie is gonna be pengiun/catwoman, then two face/riddler, and so on with mr freeze?
cause i really liked the new batman, i enjoyed it. and i was hoping they would make more but everyone said they weren't now they are wrong.
and i liked the first spider-man, but the second one i just found awful, the part where he saves the skytrain from falling off the egde, and he fainted and was moshe pitted into th emiddle of the train, that part was hilarious. i lauphed so hard at the stupidity of the scene, hahahaha
but seriously i really disliked the second one. hopefully the third will be better
what would be a cool marvel movie would be Thor, the god of thunder, i remember reading a few of his comics, he was pretty cool. |

i think that the new batman movies are trying to stay as far away from the old ones as possible. i really liked the first two batman movies...the rest were all just jokes...arnold as mr freeze??? cmon now...so they'll probably reintroduce all the villains of the past movies

i love the captain...they really havent released any information bout it besides it being released in the near future
oh yeah, TANSFORMERS...robots in disguise is comin out next year...that should be interesting...
