Played Colmar and Jagd for the first time tonight. Happy happy joy joy!
Not sure I like the grainy film look in spectator mode. However, that would be the only thing I don't like.

Other servers were reporting that the new patch broke their server. Did it affect TV1?

Colmar is awesome but an MG/Sniper fest. Most of the other maps don't encourage a lot of MGers but, by the looks of it, MGers are gonna be very important...! With all those little back alleys it's gonna be hard to keep a good defence going!

Jagd is familiar yet not, if you know what I mean. No plans to steal (I think, unless I missed something!) - just a kraftstoff/glider countdown timer for the Allies (5 minutes on the server I was on) and three objectives for the Wehrmacht to destroy (instead of 2 in DoD).

The bomb setting/detonation is cool - it seems a really long time between setting the bomb and detonation!! Agonizingly long!

You can turn the grain off in advanced video options I believe.

Haven't played them yet - looking forward to it though.

Awesome...I wonder if this means that there will actually be people on TV1 now???

I must just have an "off" schedule for when I play because the other day I was on with Dog and I think it was Rep that was there....and that's the most people I've ever seen on TV1....3..including me.

Which is why I still spend all of my time in regular DoD....b/c I have to get my daily dose of villun-ness but there's never anyone in source...
