HLTV Demos Available

Hi Greebo

What are you using to make the movies ?? Do you use startmovie or some software .. I've been looking into gamecam but I'm having some problems running it.

I'm just using startmovie.

I reduce my frame size to 640*480, get the startmovie frames, convert them to movies (after getting rid of unnecessary frames) with VirtualDub and the Xvid codec.

Then I load up my (not entirely legal) copy of Ulead Videostudio - which makes life so easy for making videos. I shove the bits I want together then move onto the next match.

(I'm getting videos from each match separately so I can keep track of what happened when.)

Forgot to say - it helps to have a lot of space available for doing this. I'm using my extra harddrive in my hard drive caddy for the storage of frames and movies for this - used about 8 gigs so far (tho the final movie is currently 40 megs or so)

Mine is in the making ... had to sort out a few things ... regarding editing etc.

Ok, I've got 4 demos to go - so *hopefully* I'll have this done by sometime tomorrow.

In the meantime we're going to have a "What happened next?" game.

Just have to wait for the video to see what happens....

Anyway, I've got just 1 demo to go before it's ready to be released so the video WILL be released tonight....though it may be so late that it's tomorrow by then, either way, you can get it when it's up.
