I dont know if its just me or if others experience it or not but is it laggy?
I cant even play on it. its been that way for like a month for me
I dont know if its just me...my luck it probably is... if it werent for bad luck id have no luck at all #Beer

no lag for me and I usually have a ping from 60-100

its not the ag its the dling of the wad files and stuff its like over 10 minutes!

That's why you should download the maps before playing on the server. All the links are on the front page.

Today I was getting some lag and freezing up a few times. Simple said something about the server getting re-routed or something.

I have been gone along time but today finally tried to play dod and had pings in the 200 /300s . I`m on cable and feels like dial up. Did I mentioned I sucked.

I got to figure this one out and blow the dust off all my old settings.

holy crap I just checked my ping on other servers and I have nothing below 150.WTF I used to be around 60/ 80. Confused

where are you located at smegma? most of the dod1.3 servers as far as i know are located in texas now.

I`m out in Vancouver ,BC. Something has to be wrong because after checking with the server listings my lowest lat I could see was 147.

heh I really don't know what is up with Canadian Rifle. If I remember he lives in the same city yet my ping is usually like half of what his is and we have the same internet. It's gotta be his settings though.

Yep - my ping (Telus High Speed) and is usually 70-80. I live in Chilliwack (outside Vancouver!).
Except that it isn't right now

because I moved my computer downstairs to make room for my new machine which will be here next week.

To connect to the ADSL modem (in a different room), I bought a DLink wireless router and PCI card for the computer and the computer locks up five minutes after playing DoD Brick wall

So me mate Preacherman is going to put in a network cable for me (I hope *grin*) and the stupid wireless crap is going back to the shop...
Will buy a gigabit router tomorrow....

Anyone know of a decent router/firewall...? Preferrably with 1000MBs...?

I use the Dlink Gamefuel

Make sure you update your firmware on your router

It does wonders

i got the maps already my problem is im on cable as well and i watch my ping go from usually 40-130 then back to 40-70-90-40-150-600. im like wtf. every server i enter its like that. never before till now about a month ago
