CS Source and DOD source

hey i jsut bought cs source and it came with dod source also and deathmatch now i needed to put in the cd key but does the cd key work for cs source only, and theres another dor dod source or is the cd the same for DOD:S and CS:S????

if you got one, put one in, if you got more then one, put em all in. you can enter a key with the register a product button somehere on the big mygames menu. I've never bought a steamgame retail so i donno how they're packaged. you shoulda gotten a package with HL2 though because you're gonna be missing out on one of the best games ever and the tons of mods being made for it.

i already have half life 2 but i bought this package becuz i was at the store and it was the last one they had so i bought it and it only came with one key so does that mean that lets just say i got banned from one gamebecuz it only gave me one cd key for both of them does that mean that i get banned from the other one too?? jw

once you enter your cd key it doesn't get used for anything else so it shouldn't matter with a ban. however VAC ban works, weather it bans you for the game you were hacking on or if it bans you from all servers running VAC for any game, it won't matter if you have 1 cd key for two games. VAC bans by steam account, not by CD key. The fact that you are worried about getting VAC banned for hacking makes me wonder why I'm even helping you.

People gat banned from servers, not games. What you have is a game package. The code will reflect the game package that you have. So the answer to your question is yes. If you get banned from one you will be banned for life from everything. NO css, no dods, no dod 1.3, no tfc, no h/l or h/l2, you won't even be allowed to play on party poker with Bender and Rough Justice's Grandmother. You will be reduced to a shell of your former self, with nothing left to do but sit in your room and wack it like a monkey in a mango tree. While I ain't much of a monkey feller, I do like mangos.

Hey - I just bought DOD:s and CS:s too. Bought it online through Steam's site and let it download (took 5 hours) on to my computer. No CD Key (sry can't help you CR!!)

So I ran it and boy, does my computer suck! It's a P4 1.3GHz with 256MHz and a 32Mb NVidia

So I guess I'll have to persuade the missus to let me buy a new machine...yeah like that'll ever happen. Guess I'll be joining Ricen in his mango tree...

you just need that one CD key for ALL the games u have. its connected to your steam account now, so u can basically play any of those games on ANY pc as long as it has the games installed....only reason i know this is cuz i play at a LAN cafe and i and a couple of ppl that come here often dl-ed it on a couple of computers and i play CSS DODS on all of them...i just enther in my steam account and password...hope that helps!
