May 18th is a sad day at the Ville, two years ago on May the 18th we found out that Blue Ruler passed away suddenly. The Ville lost a good friend on May 18th, 2004 and the place will never be the same with him gone.

Blue Ruler was an avid DOD player, and in tribute to his memory we will be renaming TV3 to BlueRulerVille for the day. Everyone who knew Blue is welcome to join in the server to play some fun games, perhaps share a few stories about Blue Ruler and help us to show how much we miss him.

Also, please take a moment to visit the Blue Ruler Memorial Forum to read the posts and comments on Blue Ruler and Trigger Happy who was another Villan that was taken from us suddenly.

One last thing, to continue to pay tribute to Blue Ruler please feel free to add the <R.I.P. Blue> tag to the end of your name when playing on the Ville servers.

Thanks Blue for all the memories, your missed but not forgotten.

Blue was a great man that took me under his wing when I first joined TheVille. We spent many of nights laughing and just having a great time whether we were on a server or just talking via IM. There became a big void here at TheVille the day that he passed and that will never changed as he touched each and everyone in one way or another that met him and even some that didn't. Still hard even 2 years later to talk about him as he was always there when you needed a friend to talk or just to chit chat with
