I see. I always use the patch file so it doesn't override templates and stuff. But I guess that doesn't always work right...

are you talking about having to log in twice or going back to the front page after logging in and not seeing the forums you have access to...well if you are here is the issue...merf and silver assured me that it was a security issue with phpbb patch that we have going. We had to update back a few months ago bacuse our back up files were outdated and when we went to back up this place it was running a previous version of phpbb that was very hackable so then when we got this patch this is what we are stuck with for the time being until something better comes along....yes i know its annoying...and it annoys me as well...but for now this is all we have.

So are you saying that all the mods you had running no longer work with the new version? For example, the mod that shows the username and message in the PM notification email (which now just shows blanks), or the supporter name colors. Also, the layout still seems a little messed up and some images don't match. The login thing is probably the main issue, though, as we can't see all the topics or the supporter control panel on the front page.

Anyway, thanks for responding to my question.
