In all honesty, I would like to have a mac. When it comes to music recording and video editing, they blow away an IBM-PC _________________ http://www.barbertonrhps.com - The offical Website for Barberton's West Theater Rocky Horror Picture Show in Ohio

And now that they will have the same processor...we can really see the speed differences between the AppŁe and Micro$oft OS's...
Let's face it...they're all crap.
I want my Sinclair ZX80 back...sniff....now that was a speed machine....
1MHz CPU, 8kB RAM expandable up to 16kb...and you had to solder it together yourself....aaaah those were the days.... _________________

My first proper computer (well it was proper at that time - kinda) was my Toshiba MSX - u could play cartridge games - load games and software via a cassette tape, which took 10mins to load pac man and also write real exciting progs like 100 my name is ..... 102 goto 100 and all that crap.
It beat the old BBC computers except it didn't have the row of red keys
From memory my wife bought it for me way before we got married - she had to pay it of on monthy installments (real big thing in those days - holy crap am I really that old) _________________

Yes.....
Anyway the BBC Micro was waaaaaay better than the Toshiba MSX...it had 32kB RAM, 4MHz CPU and 16 colours.... (of which eight were flashing... ). Ok... it was crap but it did have two 8 bit parallel interfaces which for electronics geeks like me, meant control....lots of it!
Best game on BBC Micro was Elite...flying around, dodging space cops, docking with space stations....awesome
And besides crappy BASIC you could program in 6502 Assembler ...weeeeeee
Best game on Sinclair ZX80....Breakout...in black, grey and white. _________________
