I'm not sure it was the map vote that was running people off. We had a few peeps that were trying to stat whore by team stacking. Almost nothing will run a noob off faster than 3 losses in 5 min. I liked the map vote (with only one map extention ). We just need more Greebo. It sucks when the ping goes up and no one is there to kick the server.

my guess is the database was going through problems and it kinda made his posts go nuts.

We need more people to play DOD source at noon. I think we can fill the server up. We get about twelve people in it then when merf and and guys leave to go back to work it empties out.
what we really need is bots but I not sure they have any out yet?

While i've been against CS at theville.org since the idea came up, if the majority of the people here want it, I guess i'll go along with it.

One word of caution though: the servers MUST be ruled with an absolute iron fist by our admins. We must routinely make examples of people who break the rules, so that nobody gets any ideas about bringing their crap onto the boards or into our other servers. CS has a much higher propensity to attract llamas and morons than any other game, and as such, we must rule our servers very strictly.

I am willing to help out as admin on the CS source server, if the other admins like. I play the game often, and I am familiar with it's mechanics. PM me if you would like to talk to me about it.

I think we could take a few rules from the clan {LOD} servers for the CS server, especially the no AWP/Auto sniper if your team score is twice the other team's or above. Also, their word filters are pretty good together along with their no foul language rule about keeping the server clean.
