In fact, nobody is safe above ground as Bender was proving last night....! Their team fought hard to get control of the sewers, esp. Bender so that he could zooka the floors (like the steps to the second flag).

Whether it's an exploit is open to debate - anyone doing it for real, blasting the underside of a floor would take a good deal of the blast in the enclosed space...!

I don't know...It's a toss up for me. Exploit it may be but if we slap Bender because of it there are other things that people do that we could consider an exploit, or at least poor taste that would need to be slapped as well.

ok, now this got me thinking i'm an exploiter , question: Shooting the cielings anywhere, exploit? now when we're talking about the sewer on kalt, the exploit in question is shooting the floor of the wheel house rightt? not the ceiling? because i always shoot at the ceilings

well if you were going with realism being the defining point on whether its an exploit or not then shooting a wall/ceiling/floor would not be because the bazookas have splash damage in real life.

they also have considerably more splash damage then the game has.

but if you mean killing someone on the otherside of a wall or ceiling then that would be an exploit in my opinion because of the fact that the wall sustains no damage in the game. Therefore in real life it would be considered that the wall is too thick for the bazooka shell to penetrate.

If you're inside the room/structure with someone and you shoot the ceiling that is NOT an exploit. People are referring to shooting the ceiling/floor to kill someone above/below it. That's the exploit.

So, if you're BLINDLY RANDOMLY shooting at ceilings/floors/walls that would be illegal. BUT, (that's a big but ) In my oppinion, if you know there's someone there (above, below, or through the wall/door, etc - since your bullets/rockets would go through a few boards in real life) is not cheating. The exploit it when you get nailed through those certain special brick or stone walls. The guys who MG into the wheel house through two doors isn't cheating either. That's the role of the MG, lay down sustaining fire. The guys doing all the stand up MGing w/the sensitive mouse is a pretty obvious exploit.

99% of all steam servers will ban you instantly if you exploit. to give leniancy seems out of touch. people should know what they do is right from wrong.

the reality is reality doesn't count in video games. of course if you want it to effect in real life get some fresh air and shoot a gun.
