The newest King Kong Movie is amazing.
Pure entertainment with great special effects. You could almost believe it was real
If you have not seen it, it is worth a view. _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

It's a Peter Jackson film and I'm sure it's spectacular but I have a rule. Never watch a movie where the monkey buys it at the end. I hate sad endings.
Maybe, Jackson will do a remake of Godzilla versus King Kong. I'd watch that. A whipped lizard, screaming Japanese people, laser beams, and a slightly scorched King Kong. Only Tokyo and a few parked cars saw the worst end of the deal there. _________________ ********* *********

I rented it, but didn't have time to watch since we had two movies
(didn't have enough time before we had to return them). But we still intend to watch it illegally. My parents have seen it though, and they told me that the movie seemed a bit childish, and in some scenes the proportions of King Kong and the Empire State Building was just way off. For example, before King Kong climbed the building, he looked tiny compared to this massive structure. But once he was at the top, he looked 3 times larger than the building.
But I don't know. =P I still can't wait to see it simply because it's a remake of a classic. I just have to be prepared for the 3-hour-and-7-or-so-minute sit. Bah, darn you Jackson and your lengthy films. |

I watched it a couple of days ago, rented, and to be honest, while I was glad I saw it, it seemed way too long for what it could've been. It didn't draw me in in a huge way. _________________ Most evil admin around.
