Hey Munkyeye!
I don't know if you remember, but you are the reason I started at the ville. You were running a west coast server that had a cool map on it (Osaka? something with a Japanese theme). I lived in CA, so my ping was nice and the map was such a blast.
Anyway, I'm excited about tonight. See you all there! _________________

The server is painfully laggy
I am going to suggest we do it on BR's private server if I can secure permission.
As soon as I know I shall post some details.

Will await your reeeeply JD!
Wood! Yep, I used to run TV4 and then TV3 out of Palo Alto, CA, with custom maps. Osaka was the map and it certainly was a blast!! Will see you there! |

It was a blast last night guys and a nostalgic step back in time!! Plenty of old faces like wood, nurplit, rocketfly, Mr. Hat, Mulder, Dukey, JD (literally! heh j/k), and more! We played through 2fort, Avanti, Warpath, and one more I can't remember.
Rocket jumping, bunnyhopping, concussing through the air to cap the flags, I felt like an old geezer trying to relearn stunts he used to perform on his bike years before!!
Like we said before the last game ended... We should do this again!! Thanks Wood, for reviving TFC (even for a night) whose gameplay outshines even the awesome graphics of Source by miles! |

I wanted to be there, but the baby is just around the corner and child proofing the house after 10 years takes alot of time and work. I think I'm going to be in the hospital bed next to my daughter It was a bad week to run out of pain meds _________________ <eVa>Simpleman-V$=<RIP> |

It was a blast!
Like Munkey, I was really rusty. I don't remember scouts moving that fast before ....
But even with all the hopeless watching as yet another scout conced to our last cap in warpath, I still had a lot of fun. The gameplay in TFC is just so rich.
I would certainly be down for another TFC night.
JD, if you can get the BR server again, just let me know which night and I will try to be there! I would even play *gasp* a sniper map for one rotation. _________________

hi guys, was a blast see you all, the turnout was pretty nice...all things considered. I'll be happy to setup the BR server to do this again. In fact...if you guys request some maps, i'll be happy to set them in the rotation and provide a location to download them from.
if you can give me some more notice i might even be able to round up a few more oldtimers to kick around.
