|
|
I was wondering if there was an auto-balance feature in DoD:S or in the admin plug-in. I think it's mani-mod that has an auto-balance feature on CS. If there is one please enable to prevent things like this ( http://www.tvr-guild.org/~rancor/dod_avalanche0006.jpg ) from happening. Kind of takes away from the fun. _________________

Auto balancing only makes sure the teams are at even strength. It doesn't take in account skill wise. By the looks of it the 2 on the bottom of the allies just joined. I could be wrong, but when TV3 was Source server I looked through all the pluggins and didn't see anything that takes skill into the equation. _________________ <eVa>Simpleman-V$=<RIP> |

The CS autobalance will even the teams up by K. Maybe they haven't implemented that into a DoD plugin yet. _________________

Autobalance doesn't work whatsoever. Sometimes it takes those who are skilled, and put them in the other team thats stacked. Honestly theres nothing any of the plug-ins are useful for except for stats. Auto-balance, auto anything is garbage. Thats just experience though from other servers. People will still complain about auto-balance _________________

We did ask if you wanted one of us to come allies - sometimes its hard to switch when someone doesnt leave allies. At one point it was Allies 7 Axis 5 - sorry you were on the recieving end that run. |

I think mine saves them as *.tga files and I just open them in photoshop and *save as* *.jpg - I think there is a way to make your defaults save as jpegs but I can't remember where I read it. |

They can easily do that based on scores. Computers tend to be good with numbers so it shouldn't be too hard. _________________

I tried to switch, but at one point allies had two more players, but with me Justice batmanx, and maschine that is a pretty deadly haxis combo. Sorry rancor it was truly brutal. After they won before I even fired a shot I tried to switch. Bender is usually my auto-balancer or cmon, but haven't caught either of them lately. _________________
