I agree with those saying we need to up the number of people to 10 before flag caps count (what about a few more before kills even count?).
But merf is right - we need to up the profile of the server somehow, attract more regs at as many times of day as possible, while making sure that the server is well admined. |
It doesn't work that way Greebo...you can't seperate kills form caps. The min players setting turns stats on and off.

OK I changed it to 10 player min. before stats count. I am done with this now.

Thanks Merf - I think it will help. Junk and I have been trying to fill the server up and yesterday we had it going within a half hour. If we can get a couple more people to do that when its empty we can boost traffic. I like Benders idea about something advertising the ville to get people going to the site etc.
Reset those stats! and let the new improved system shine.

You know the server ops around supply these servers for everyone to play on. I don't think it's to fair to be demanding things of them. They supply them for people to have fun and to play with friends and to meet new friends. I think maybe asking instead of demanding would be a better way to go about it. I know us server ops spend alot of out own spare time and monet to keep the servers up so everyone has a fun place to play. All I have seen as of late is people complaining. Being polite goes along way and will get the server ops to do more for ya. Complaining will get you nowhere IMHO.

| I have only made suggestions to improving things - I don't think I have demanded changes or said I'll take my ball and go somewhere else. I appreciate the admins time and money - and I in kind give my time and money and feedback - I don't give a shit about being #1 - my style of play isn't always stat friendly. I like Source and the ville and the competition is fun - I am just trying to be vocal about some of the compaints I heard/experienced - period. |
