Rough Justice

Here is my take on this screenshot and I will point out some key tactical strategies of each player. http://secure.lnh.net/dod.jpg

<Patches>Panthro - He mistakely thinks his team is camping and not pushing up to cap the flag - He swings wildly around the corner and looks in the opposite direction to "check out the bicycle" - he is then almost immediatley killed by a sniper or mowed down by MG fire.

<Patches>Patches - He is actually looking in the right direction and thinking about his next move - Cmon whispers some encouraging words before he heads out " go get 'em you big meat shield" - Patches actually kills 1 other player with his "pray and spray" before being killed.

Cmon - He has the best tactics. He uses <patches>Patches as a "meat shield" then kills one player outright and cleans up the two other guys that <patches>Patches wounded with his "spray and pray"and caps the flag.

<patches>Herr Biermeister - (look hard he is hiding in the dark corner) - He Instinctively hides while pretending to be helpful and follows Cmons every move put will piss poor results. As Cmon charges he calls" I'll cover your six" which means going prone in the dark corner and looking the other way. What he is really hoping for is Cmon to die but leave one player with 6 health that he can actually kill and get the easy cap. Then he will type "owned" - but as he is typing he gets shoveled from behind.

Wow - a lot to learn from this simple picture! Hope this illustrated some of the many tactics that are used in DOD:Source.
