I have been officially converted to the darkside. I played for free this weekend the DoD:S thing, and enjoyed it pretty much, but some of the comps up here are cruddy but anyways, I loved it. So today I went out and bought it after I sold my PS2 (don't worry I have another one that is way better) for some cash. So it is official....I will be playing both DoD 1.3 and DoD:S from here on out....oh and by the way....you still have to watch out for my suicide nades of death!!! MWAHAHAHAHA

You know what? i think im a convert now.
I played during the free weekend but lets just say integrated graphics are not very.... sufficient.
got a geforce 7800gt the other day as a valentines day/birthday gift from my girlfriend. Yeah, its an expensive birthday gift, but shes great like that.
I bought source and it finally finished this morning.
I played for 10 minutes and im hooked. I think its awesome. Its not 1.3 but you have to consider dod:s more of like a sequel than the same game.
also, i dont know what its called, but the full auto pistol for the panzerschreck is AMAZING!

It is called a C96 it was first made by mauser in 1896 and was used by some South American militaries all the way up into the 1980's and i will have to agree with a good graphics card source is amazing, and imo a far better game than 1.3 for play and feel, and I used to be hardcore 1.3 all the way from the beta days.
