Free DoD S Weekend!

YIPPY! Now I get to play DoD:S for free for 2 days!

Although I probably won't! lol.

Its a good idea on Valve's part though. Maybe now with a fixes they've done, extra maps and stuff to, they'll be able to bring some of us 1.3ers over to the dark side.

You need to give it a try mal. It’s a good game just needs a little tweaking.
It’s a completely different game and shouldn’t be compared to 1.3. People resist it because they are afraid to start over and might not have the same skills in source.
One thing I’ve learned is you can’t Rambo through it like in 1.3. You have to pick your target and hope you kill it.

Well you see I've tried DoD S, and I wasnt overly impressed with it at the time. Although I did try it in the first few days it was out. So i'll give it a try again, and maybe it will help suck another $20 out of my pockets. Although I dont think I'll ever leave 1.3. And dont worry guys, I'm not afraid of being a noob. I'll pwn you no matter what.

I saw that today. In fact I might play it, but for now I am loading DoD 1.3 to play online. I'll try it, so you might see me on the servers soon. It might also incourage me to get source.

My refusal to change has nothing to do with skill level. It has to do with hitboxes and weapons. Both of which are very flawed in Source.

I just hate DoD and refuse to play it, it's that simple. 1.3 and Source are of no consequence, I don't like the games.

I pre-loaded dod source and it's apparently going to start at noon on friday and last for 60 hours.

On friday morning it said the source server was tracking stats for a little over 5000 players this morning it is tracking over 6000 that means over 1000 new players came in over th weekend
