I got the same thing too. Restarted steam and there was an update. Retried connecting to tv4 and still had the same problem. Too lazy to reboot right now. I'm sure that will clear it up. |

That also happened on my own server. I logged out of steam and shut it down and logged back in and the error is gone. Hope this helps _________________ <eVa>Bleeding Tomato-III$

I can't get this problem to go away. I've restarted steam several times. I've updated it. I've rebooted. And still I get this error when I try to connect. |

Found this in steam forums:
* Exit Steam
* Delete steam\clientregistry.blob
* Restart Steam
Some say it's worked. _________________

most steam server errors can be fixed with a delete of the clientregestry.blob _________________ R.I.P. Blue |

Well, I was exiting steam and restarting. That wasn't working. I didn't know about deleting that file thing so I didn't try that. But, I logged out my account without exiting steam. Then logged back in. That worked. Weird. |

Glad you figured it out. I was just going to tell you to actually log out not just restart _________________ <eVa>Bleeding Tomato-III$

Yeah logging out works much brtter also the clientregistry.blob file works as well . I figure I myself and many others have posted those many of times and most try those first. _________________ <eVa>Simpleman-V$=<RIP> |
