How long have u played DOD for?

Well I bought half life around March 2004 because my friends told me it was such a good game and that then we could play counterstrike and day of defeat together. I played counterstrike for a few months and then started playing day of defeat that september. I started playing at theville around october that year

I started playing back when I had to walk to school in the snow up hill both ways

Started playing 3.1 on christmas of 2002 I think. Played on a bunch of servers until I found the ville and never left.

I had been playing HL for couple of year, mostly Counterstrike. I start play DOD last year (Dec 05) when I gave up CS because there're so many hackers in CS (At first I didn't know I can download DOD for free lol).
So, it has been a year for me playing DOD and it's been a year with the ville. Good time, knowing alot of cool people.

If I recall.....I started with Half Life Team Fortress about three years ago...I wasnt much into gaming so I suspended for a while, then I tried Counter Strike...still wasnt interested...then about a year ago tried Day of Defeat and since then.....well.. u get the point..

I've played pretty much every decent mod there is at least once in the past over a period of about four or five years. So technically speaking, I'm pretty seasoned, but I still can't hold any particular skill level in anything. Bugger.

bought my p3 back in da day of 98 for the sole purpose of playing tfc.. played that religously for 2 years.. then jumped into cs for 4 and then finally decided to try out DoD based on the fact that unlike cs... i wasn't getting killed by hackers every 1/2 a minute... fell in love with the game play/realism (planes raoring over head and nades shaking the screen)
was a wonderer for months till i found theville... now it's the only server on my server list... love the people and the "non-abusive"/rule following admins... decent ping is a bonus =)

i think i'll be hanging around for a few more years.

its been a damn long time... used to play on the AOF servers.. but im not an angry old fart.. so i dunno, lol.. was pointless.. that's like playing on "Rapist Anon" or something haha.. been on the ville for a long while now.. good players, good environment, good maps.
