I can't get how some of the weapons like the gerande and bar are so weak compared to the k-98. It just isn't right. I'm sure eventually it will be corrected but I just can't see how a k-98 can kill you when shot in the foot or arm. |

HA! Trying to convert someone to source. It will never happen. People rarely enjoy giving up gameplay for graphics. And truly, a DoD post probably should not have been made in the General Ramblings part of the forum. _________________

They're just trying to put that ounce of realism into source. Besides the Thompson isn't that bad as long as you dont put the crosshair right n the person _________________

Agreed Mal. Although, I would have given source a try if I didn't have to pay for it. I already paid for HL2. I shouldn't have to pay for a mod of HL2 that is just a graphics upgrade of an already existing game. |

its not just the graphics... its the way it feels, after playing source for a while and u go back to 1.3, 1.3 feels as if u were playing in super slow mo, come join us, besides anyone can afford to pay for an extra mod we await for u, soon you'll realize that realism is better than gameplay... _________________ You go Bye Bye... |

With realism, if you generally aim right at something, you're going to hit it.
Hooray for common sense. _________________

Hooray for common sense. | hhmm perhaps u need to play more to learn where to aim when shooting... well i guess a few of us enjoy playing harder and more realistic games _________________ You go Bye Bye... |

"Harder" should be judged by the skill of the players, not how horrible the guns are. You put your crosshair on a guy from ten feet away, you should generally hit more than air. _________________
