Does anyone know much about it yet ?? 64bit ??

i read somewhere that it wasn't the true windows upgrade....and that it is a resource hog...and that it was pretty much a windows version of OS X

Yea I heard the resource hog rumor too, which i don't doubt. It looks pretty cool though. I havent heard any word on 64 bit either.

I checked out the wed site this morning. They just said it was great, but couldn't find anything about 64bit or not.

i actually read in the same mag that gave me the resource hog fact...that it will be 64 bit...

Yea would be nice. Everyone says no to windows x64 i wasnt sure to try it or not.

They have been slamming it (xp64) with updates. No word on how effective they have been though.
