The easiest way to tell them apart is to look at the helmets. If it's greenish and rounded like a salad bowl, it's an Allied soldier, if it's blackish gray and sometimes orange camo covered it's an Axis helmet. Also, the Allied troops have a green color scheme to their uniforms. The Axis have more gray in them.

It's still called The Ville.org II. The IP is still the same.

I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces on the server last night. DoD is a game that requires a different gaming strategy entirely than TFC. I enjoy it because its a change from the same 'ole same 'ole. I hope that we can convince the mayor to run the The Ville DoD regularly. It used to be hard to prevent cheating in DoD, but with the latest updates for all of Half-Lfe in cheating software it has become less of a 'llama' magnet and more fun.
I particularly enjoy playing because there are lots of voice commands(in german as well as american), the weapons are intriguing to use, the maps are very detailed and well designed, and most importantly, DoD promotes team work! KEY to fun gaming for me....
I would love to see some other maps in the rotation as well. My favs are dod_schwetz, dod_dogs1, dod_Anzio, and dod_heuteau (i cant remember how to spell it, DOH!)

As it stands right now, DoD will stay on TV2. The map rotation today is Caen2, Avalanche, Dog1 & Thunder. I'm sure it'll change again though..

Even teams are a must and a 1 sniper and like 2 or 3 machine gunner limit is needed.Even though you respawn in numbers so many people try to go solo just like TFC That is not how you win in multiplayer/teambased games.
