I try to make a LAN game, just to test the game out. Yadda yadda. It gives me about 5-20 seconds before i'm back at Desktop.
Anyone know what the deal is?
I discovered this is only on certian maps... dog1 is one of them, i can't remember the other this happened on.

Update: This only seems to happen on Dog1 and one other map, i -think- it was thunder. On dog1 i get big blue splotches, then it kicks me. The other maps seem to work though... anyone know what the deal is

More new stuff: Open GL gives me 5-20 seconds before it kicks the consle open and i'm done. Direct 3d, same thing, but, i can't quit. Usually have to restart my computer. Software works for a few maps, just, not dog1 and thunder, but, even on the other maps, i'm so lagged, i can't even move much. Is it just my connection? For the laggy part anyway... Anyone have any answers to... well, anything?

The blue splotcheds i think are to save graphics and not make the game so laggy. But the same thing happens to me on dog1, overlord, thunder sometimes, and ramelle.

I broke my self on a Brand spanking new computer... and then realised that my brand spanking new computer didn't come with a brand spanking new internet connection.
I hope to be getting Power link sometime soon... better than what i have anyway.

I am also having the same problems. I have a P3-733 with 192MB RAM at first, but upgraded another 512MB in hope to correct problem. Nividia 16MB TNT-RIVA or whatever. Also have cable. I get monster lag spikes. I don't have the lag problems on TV2, but on other servers that I was playing on during the day. But I still do get kicked from certain maps on TV2. |

It's funny to watch Jolly enter and leave so much. Oh there goes Jolly. And there he goes again. Op there goes Jolly. I only had one problem intstalling and Assassin and Munkeyeye quickly gave me an easy solution. After that I've never had problems with any maps or lag on TV2. I expierence lag on TV1 but I think that is universal. Got 192 ram, AMD-K6, 32 mb Nvidia TNT2, and I also have cable. I just recently sent an email to my provider about the insane downtimes and pings. It seems like they fixed it. w00t! |
