well its a good thing that the PS3 is coming out in a while, becuz it blows the XBOX 360 out of the water, and hopefully PS3 doesnt have the same problems....but i think they are having these problems becuase they are tryin to produce it to fast for the public and the ps3 is taken another year!!

In most cases, it is supposedly because of an overheating power supply. Someone got around this problem by using a piece of string

they put it over a box after using a string. that amount of problems isn't really that many. the people probably had the power supply stuck on a carpet with the fan side down.

And this is the reason that I did not purchase an xbox 360. Well, a few other reasons too, but whatever.

And Canadian, we'll have to wait on that ps3, they've seen what xbox did and they're changing their system already. Instead of the 512MB being shared between ram and video, they're going to put 512MB ram seperately in the ps3 and still have 256MB for the video.

Ya, they're changing thier console even though games are already half way developed for them

Not alot of ram isn't needed because most of the data is streamed off of the disc.

Sony made people pay to get their problems fixed with thier brand new ps1's and ps2's, and those consoles weren't exactly flawless.
