Downloading.

Is there anyway possible to download DoD in, i don't know, bursts, as opposed to one big patch? I usually get to about 15 percent before i get disconnected, and have to start all over again... I was just curious if i could download the seperate files somewhere, or something like that.

If you want, I can probably send you individual files via email, though I don't know how large of files your inbox can handle. Let me know, or ask Rob if he'll put it in the files section to dl.

I'm not sure. It's one of them free lycos accounts i have, so... probably not a whole lot.

try using download accelerator plus (DAP). it doesn't split the file (well, it does, but in a different way than you're thinking about) but it DOES support resuming.. so if the site supports it, you can use that program to continue where it left off. just try a search at download.com and you'll find it.

Whydkuul, thank you. I picked up the DAP, and it cut the dl time in half. Havn't even got disconnected yet to test the resuming feature. I just hope it works.
