How long have u played DOD for?

I think 3 years. We started before 1.0. Is that right squirrel? I don't remember for sure to many blasts to the head and knifes in the neck.

i've been playing since early this year. I tried a few servers out and stuck with the best one, made a lot of good friends, and became a villun.

started a long time ago with cs and all that and then got bored came to dod and played on random servers for a while on my friends comp until i got dsl at my house then found the ville on my comp and have played since then on and off

i think it was around a month after WON stopped and TFC died. but i played a few uk servers for a while. but actually prefered the higher ping i get on US servers as i always played tfc on US servers and i dont know if there is actually any diffrance at all of i just like you Yanks. found the ville through one of the other admins on the tfc server we admined on, he said your rules and regs were simlar to the ones we upheld on the old newbie server (TFC) RIP.....

Let me put it this way... When Half Life was first released I was expecting my second daughter and I was in my 20th.... I was not working so I started playing this silly game - Deathmatch... Now my second daughter is in school, I am in my late 30th and last XMas I got a gift - HL2 ... so I switched from Deathmatch to DoD.... I don't even remember who did it to me....

I've been playing DoD since the first Beta. Me and my bro have played almost every HL mod since HL's release late 1998 early 1999 (cant remember). I do remember playing DoD for the first time ( had previously been a CSer) and all i could think about is, how COOL IT IS! lol. I dont think i've really gotten into any other HL mod the way i've with DoD.

Been playing DoD on the ville since January 2004. Joined forums in Sept. 2004.

Well, lets see... I bought half-life at the start of my first year of university, after returning BF1942 cause it ran like crap on my computer. I got counterstrike that evening, and day of defeat maybe a month later... what a pleasant surprise after wanting to play BF1942! HL was basically the best 15 bucks I ever spent. so yep, about two and a half years for me now. Soon as I found theville, it was added to my favourites, and it's all I've played!

I'd probably be doing something more productive if i had never found it, but meh, im glad i did.
