My Heart..Real Life issue

Well...

I tried to quit smoking. It worked for 2 weeks no cigs. However nicotine masks heart issues well.

I almost had a heart attack. I now have hypertension non specific..it means they are not sure what I have but my blood presure is skward to say the least.

Per doctors orders I am smoking again until they can determine what is up with my heart.

I have also had a short circuit on my heart since birth. The USMC did not mind it because they could not see it...I skip a beat.

The thing is now my body has issues when my blood pressure goes to below 100 beats per minute.

Inverted Hypertension ....

Just all stay young.

And I am sorry for being an ass.

The ville sometimes becomes my personal venting area since it feels like family and I have been here for years.

dont give up on the smoking. where there is a will there is a way.

The one good thing is they have lots of different drugs for blood pressure and heart related items.

ya know... my mom smoked for years and years, quit once for a few years started again. then quit again around 2000 i think. and when she did... all sorts of stuff surfaced.

her immune system seemed to weaken or something. but she got chicken pox ( her 2nd time in her life) she had congestive heart failure (CHT) and it turns out the nicotine was covering up the fact that she had chrones. look it up not gonna describe it here. but ya know now that she is through it all i think she is happy still that she quit.

As if quitting wasnt hard enough, sheesh.

And I, and I'm sure I speak for most or all of the villuns, am glad that you come to vent here. We're glad to have you around, and of course it's like family, thats how I see all of you guys. I trust you all more then I trust some of my realtime friends.

I know you'll get through it, just another little bump in the road. I bet if you quit, just in time things would settle themselves out. But wait for the doctors orders on that. I bet he (or she) will give you some medicine to help control the heart, but in a few months max you won't even need it anymore. You'll be fit and trim in every organ!

It could be worse Dakon. My father suffered from the same thing and when the doctor ordered him to stop smoking, after a heart attack, all his hair fell out. After that, doctor prescribed same thing, only he gave up his cigars and started smoking a pipe.
