I'm back btw hehe

i tried to open Steam and i got an error message

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libary
RUNTIME ERROR!!
Program: D:\Steam\Steam.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application support team for more information.

some one make it better

sounds like a reinstall

but its for the best!

or maybe do a spyware scan or check if it does it on any other folders???

Open up steam folder find file clientregistry.blob. Delete file. Restart steam. It will redownload this when you restart steam, this fixes some things will not hurt to try.

Try updating your video card drivers as well.

Ok, I deleted STEAM, now here's a new one while i tried installing it again.

ERROR
You do not have access to make the required modification. Please re-run this application from an admin.

.... i only have one profile on XP lol

darn buddy, you realy do have a problem

you may want to disable the firewall and such just to see if it helps

yea i guess if that doesnt work u might wanna like back up ur files and reformat or find the problem and fix it and start with a clean slate!
