I'm lucky to have a few friends who do and don't play games.

The people who don't play flat out think I am missing out on everything. These are the people who either drink or go to clubs. They cannot relate to the computer scene. They find it very crippling socially.

Here's a list of people I have met via the Ville in real life. First off the real life people I knew before the Ville.

SilverOne, Merf and Danno. I'm the computer retard of the bunch which should tell you something.

Here's the people I've met due to The Ville.

Zero Hour, llama_beans, Sully, Rock Man, BRN, Albino Gibbon, twelv, Verman, Psychotic, Sgt. Stutter, Caveman, Mulisha, Cycodad, Cycomom, Munkey Eye, Did It Hurt, Little Miss Hurt, Azrael, Dreadvile, Nanite, Jfet, Simpleman (and family), Bleeding Tomato, Squirrel and probably a few others I forgot.

Here's more people I consider friends that I haven't met. I may forget a few by accident.

Meat Juice, DK, OSU Snipe Shocker and Secret Agent Man.

Case closed...

This is all in spite of my Chicago Italian attitude at times.

Hehe, I don't dislike you just because we had a disagreement in a different topic. It's long since been over. Can we move on?

hey now, you forgot about poor lil me

No worries, i've got loads of online friends too. Interestingly enough, all my real life friends are also avid computer users/internet gamers, so we understand eachother very well.

Some people however just dont understand what it means to have friends on the internet.

A damn shame really.

Sorry about that KK

I was bound to forget someone. I am on the wrong side of 30. I'm told memory is the first thing that goes.

It’s true you can become very good friends with people you game with.
That was one of the reasons I went to the Vegas bash last year. I wanted to meet some of the people I play DOD with. They were exactly what I expected, Old and hairless.
But beside that they are all very good people and hopefully good friends for life.
Now excuse me I need a tissue.

I love Old Hairless people. Hey wait that's me. Oh never mind

I have always found that the people that you deal with online can be so much better than the ones that you deal with in real life. My girlfriend and i had split up for a while and ya i was pretty upset. I spent most of the time that I wasnt working (Seeing as how it was summer and had to pay for school) playing games rather than going out. None of those people really knew me, but there i was playing cs everyday with all these new people. I got to know lots of them and since then have met some personally.

The beauty of the online gaming deal is that you dont have to worry about the other person. I mean this is going to sound bad because I cant think of another way to put it but we are all predigest about the people that we meet. When we have the chance to meet someone that we don’t know we just look at them and already have a decision met. While some more than others can just jump up and say that they hate a person others might still be apprehensive when it comes to introduction. We might think that someone looks like a nerd and not bother, or their fat or anything along those lines. And because of that we might be inclined not to meet some of the people that we see. Online however you deal with the people on the mental level there is no, visual divisions, there are no black and white or any of those other divisions. Ya online is so much better than real life.

well thats my thoughts

I figure this much. Life is to judgemental. When your in the world of internet your not worried about what that person looks like. Your not going to base a friendship off the way they look.

Id never would want to meet any of you. Why? Not because i know your all a bunch of child molesters but its because its human nature to judge based on what people look like.

So after i meet you now im going to view you different. Im going to speak to you different and i may not be as kind to you. I like the fealing of being able to judge you on the way you act. Its a faceless world where you need not worry about what you are wearing or if you have shaved and wether you smell or not.

The world is and always will be a cruel place when it comes to judgeing people, and the internet removes some of the many ways we judge people on.

No non-gamer will ever understand the friendships online untill they have been there.

I love being a Nerd/Gamer!!!!!!!
