No tips for you Dread, unless I'm playing on 2 I go under the name n00b. That way no one expects that much from me. Anyway I wanted to say that I kinda drifted away from 2 to play my favorite maps, Ramelle and Overlord. I haven't seen all the maps yet but I hope those two will be added to the rotation. |

First tip: Learn the maps! Where the det places are! There are a lot of them for both teams. The sooner you get them the sooner you get your team to victory.
Here is a hint they have little cracks that you can just see thru. plus it says axis det or allied det when you look at them.
Remember when you respawn get dynamite before leaving respawn!

The only thing I didn't like about DoD is that when you die you have to wait for either your whole team to die or the others. I guess that is why I stopped playing, other than that it is cool. Another good mod for half life is Action Half-life, that one is real fun. |

The reason you have to wait is they wanted to keep the flow smoother. Reinforcements need to be more grouped together because DoD is all about attacking in groups. That's why you have to wait to spawn sometimes.

To use the TNT, walk up to a crack as Roof said. When you're there, it will either tell you it's an Axis or Allied target. If it's for your team, a timer will count down from 5 and then blow out the wall/door/whatever. And I agree with Roof, learn where the TNT sites are for both teams. It makes it waaaay quicker in battle.

OK, I tried DoD last nigt. Not a bad game, but will take a little getting used to. I have a hard time telling friend from foe right now. Especially from a distance. I will need to bind some keys a little differently to match my TFC controls better. Overall it was fun.
TV2 only rotated through 2 maps last night. Is there any plan to increase or change the map rotation ? I'd like at least one of the beach maps ( I think ). Also what happened to limits on classes and keeping the teams even ? There was a point I was the only MGer on a team of 3 snipers with 7 allies against us 4. Since I'm so new to the game, maybe there is no need for class limits and even teams and I'm just not aware of it yet. Please correct me if I'm wrong. |

I played alot yesterday but not on 2 cuz i couldnt get it to show up. Its a great game. MGer is the best. I have to get used to the snipe not makin everyone explode. The only problem I have is that sometimes i will get in to a game and them my computer will just shut half life down completely. Does anyone know why this happens?

GI, the X-Plug does not like DOD for some reason so you have to join via the DOD vehicle (game). Just type in the server IP for TVII and you're on your way.
