Source Screenies

I was just wondering, how come the Source screenshots are created as a .tga? Anyone know what this is and something that will read it?

just try changing the extension to .jpg or .bmp, that should convert it to something windows can open.

Thats weird, my screenshots are in jpg.

But to answer you, it stands for truevision targa graphic(why its not TTG i dont know) but its a common format for high quality games n such. As far as I know, you can open it with almost any photo viewing program(PhotoShop, Irfanview, etc)
