Scheduled to get one Monday, where I work offers free flu shots every year. You would be amazed how many turn it down.

yeah i gave out flu shots yesterday.... too bad were not hot.. lol heh... oh well... dude.. the biggest infantry guys are such wussies...

This year I am not passing up on shot with the threat of an outbreak of the "Bird" flu. Maybe I'm being paranoid but the word "Pandemic" scares me.

Well, I know they don't have a treatment available yet for the "Bird" flu but my theory is that with a flu shot, I might have a little bit more resistance than without it.
Better safe than sorry...........

Well I believe the way it works is that you are either resistant to a specific virus or you aren't. I don't think it would help unless the vaccine included the avian virus. I'm no expert, though, so don't panic yet.
