Custom Map night coming up!!! Saturday Feb 23rd.

Hi all, I am doing a custom map night for everyone at the Ville, the details are as follows.

Custom Map Night Saturday February 23 8:00 PM CST on TVIII

Server password will be classic

Maps that will be played are:

Dusk
Magic
3drylakes
Breakfastonia
Hitnrun

Map details:

Dusk - True Assault

Attacking team has 10 minutes to assault the enemy-held town and must:

1- Detpack the bridge over the lake for 5 points
2- Start the train by flipping the switch in the railhouse for another 5 points.
3- Take the flag to the clock tower for the victory and 10 more points.

Defending team scores 1 point every 30 seconds they hold the town.

When one team scores or time runs out, they switch roles so that the defenders become attackers and vice-versa.

Magic - Command point variant

Objective: Take a key, and activate an Enemy Control Point. Control points are reset when all 4 points are activated.

Activating a Control Point rewards you with a Token. Tokens can be exchanged at your Control Center for special abilities.

Scoring: 2 Team points/5 personal frags per Control Point. 7 point bonus if all 4 are activated.

3drylakes - It is a pretty straight-forward deathmatch map.
Centered around 3 lakes set high up in the mountains, during a drought.

Breakfastonia Unique map, not exactly about getting frags. Wait and see.

Hitnrun

Attackers mission
Turn off the lasers guarding the flag by destroying the generator!
Take the flag to the Helicopter!

Defenders mission
Defend the flag!

Defenders get 5 points per 30 seconds.
Attackers get 5 points for destroying the generator and 15 points when escaping with the flag.

All maps will be able to be downloaded from the Ville just as soon as I make them available. You can also get them from JMC's Mapzone http://www.planetfortress.com/jmcstfmapzone/tfcindex.html

Please read all the instructions and .txt files included with the maps to ensure you put the correct files in the correct folders so that the map works properly.

I realize that replying to your statement will only prove your point further Monk, but I must. Um. . .you're right!

I spend more time fragging here than a lot of the regulars do. I am however a very vocal person so the forums call out to me for replies! ROOF knows all about those voices as does JD. I try to keep all of my posts filled with content and not just random three or four word spam posts. It get's me into trouble yes, but I have met more friends in the forums than in game.

For instance, DreadVile and I had some heated discussions in my latest post but we reconciled them via PM. Now we are good friends and I hope it stays that way cause I like his attitude and he is my TVB Brother. I met Ktulu the same way.

Just know this: when I play, I play TPF all the time everytime. You have Robert who runs the site, thus has hardly any time to play after real life. You have admins who are busy protecting us and running servers thus have hardly any time to play after real life. Then you have people like me who perpetuate the ongoing forum discussions that involve this game we play thus have hardly any time to play after real life.

Damn. . No matter how I read that, it just doesn't equal a reasonable excuse. Damn you Monk! You busted me!
