Respawn bug

I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. There has been a couple times the opposing team has won and I wouldn't respawn. Doesn't matter which team or map. It has only happened to me a couple times though. The opposing team would win, but I would never respawn and would be left without a weapon to run around and be someone's target practice. I sent valve a email telling them about this, but I was just curious if anyone else had this problem?

My friend, this is not a bug, the game has been conceived like that!!!

In DOD, nobodies can shoot anyone after a victory. In DOD:S, players in the winning team can shoot players from the losing team (weeeeeeeeeee). The funniest thing is that "losers" cannot do anything about that, except run like a headless chiken to hide in a dark corner, praying that no one will find you!!! I think that is great... It is like a "gift" for the winning team...

Hmmmmmmm, free kill...! *saliva*

So to answer to your question, no it never happen to me because I always win!!!

My best advice... Win and you'll not have this "bug" anymore!!!

No squidly I know that happens after a team wins the round, but what I am saying that after that "killing" round (If im not killed), sometimes I don't respawn when the new round has started. Everyone would respawn back to their spawns with their weapons and start the new round, I stay in the same spot with no weapons. IE. I'm on the axis team and the allies win. I'll be in the church hiding from the allied players. "Killing" round has ended and my team all respawns back while I sit hiding because I was never "restarted" (respawned) for the new round. I can run around with no weapons only to be killed.

That happend to me the other day. After the round was over everybody else respawned but me and I was left without a weapon and all I could do was run around till someone killed me. It has only happend to me once though.

its come close to happening to me, but i end up just respawning a few seconds late. There is probably something that triggers it, like being in a certain area of a map or a certain flag or something. It used to happen to me in 1.3 too though, soo...no idea.

I noticed it happens sometimes when you die just as the last flag is capped.

Its happened to me, just repick your class and either do kill in console or let someone whack you and you should spawn fine.
