I can't acess my console in DOD:S. I know it's suppose to be "~" but the problem that I have is that I use a french keyboard and nothing work.
Another question: If I type a command in the Launch Option it's the same as it be with the console? I'm not sure...
Suggestion? Thx

Actually it's turned off by default in Source...I had the same issue.
If you hit the options and then head under one of the tabs (sorry can't remember which one) Advanced button...it's there...you can turn the console on and set it ~ or whatever the other option is (didn't pay much attention as I set mine to ~)

Like he said it is under keyboard options at the bottom click on the advanced tab  .

Salut Easy!!!
I had the same problem... The only way I found to solved it is to change my keyboard configuration to be recognized as an english (u.s) keyboard!!!
Go in your "panneau de configuration".
Click on "configuration regionale et linguistique".
Click on "langues" and "details"
In "Parametres", click on "ajouter" and from there youll be able to add the english (us) configuration for your keyboard!!!
By doing this, a button in your taskbar will appear and that will allow you to easily swith between the french (FR) or the english (EN) configuration for your keyboard.
Be sure to switch to the english configuration before starting steam and youll be able to access to the console by pressing ~!!!
Hope it will work for you... it did for me!!!

Sorry for the french but here are another way

Faites Ok
Vous pouvez aller taper : bind "x" "toggleconsole" dans la console une fois celle-ci obtenue pour la rappeler avec la touche de votre choix quand vous le souhaiterez.
Remplacer évidemment "x" par la touche de votre choix
(Vous pouvez aussi taper ça directement dans votre fichier config.cfg, ils se trouvent à : C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\votrelogin\day of defeat source\dod\cfg)
attention si vous bindez la touche "²" ça fera cracher DoD:S à chaque tentative de lancement !!! |
