Source and the Ville

Hey guys and gals...just letting yall know the status of the source conversation here...

Silver is converting TV1 as i type to source and it will just be a matter of a few minutes until the it is fully converted to source. I thank you all for waiting and i will let you know as soon as i know when the server is operational.

Also if you see silver thank him as he has devoted a lot of time, hair, and dedication to the ville so that we may enjoy.

Thanks for the update, I was looking for the server. I'm having trouble connecting right now. It ends up boosting right up to a 2000 ping when I try. I'm afraid, hold me people.

malanthros....HOLD ME!!!! I'm scared...i've been in a couple of servers, but i'm lagging way too bad.....someone with tech skills please explain it to me?....is it because too many people with not enough capacity are in the servers?????

Cool. I have played for a bit already (not on the ville

). It is laggy as all get out. And also a recommendation for everyone after source gets all its stuff on your computer is DEFRAG YOUR HARD DRIVE..

Also just a thought..

due to server load demand for dod s perhaps lock the server for now untill more servers populate and post the pass ont he ville front page so us villus can give it a whirll without a 2 hr wait lol

Played a bit, first server was around 160 ping, wasnt much fun. Second server I was around 60, but still lots of other people were lagging, so they were hard to shoot. Just look at the ping of the server when ur looking at the server list. Pick one of the3 lowest.

Also I saw the ville listed for a second, refreshed because it didnt add to my favorites list, then it was gone. Whats the deal?
