Well it all started with a new graphics card, but that needed another thing which needed another thing which turned out to be a small upgrade for the whole computer.... so here it is
right now my HP case is "ghettofied" front panel won't fit on etc lol
From a Geforce 5200 to the XFX Geforce 6800GT $300
(newegg.com)
From a cheap 250w ps to an Ultra 500 X-Connect ps $70 w $30 rebate
(tigerdirect.com)
From a standard HP case (14.5 by 14.5) to XION Ultimate Engineering XON-002 case $64 w $20 rebate
except mine is black and silver
(newegg.com)
here is mine (on its way)
Newegg Xion case _________________

LOL
I already received the exact same case, and my PS (same one mind you) arrives on Monday supposedly. Didn't get the graphics card though.... I like my ATI 9800 pro.
Now, to figure out what to do with all this, will be fun, transferring everything from my HP case to my Xion one.
It is a little longer than the HP one I have atm, and it is really nicely made, imho. Also, you will like the way it slides on and off with just two thumb screws very nice
Mine is justified as a birthday present to myself, using money (well, will be using that money as I currently took it out of my account) I am receiving for my bday from family... then going to send them pics showing them what I did with it, since normally they complain they don't know what I spend it on
Guess this means we have good taste? _________________

from what I know about that card it was a pretty good one, I think it was released in 2003. So you should maybe be able to get another year out of it or so for higher end games, I think Nvidia had their 5800 out around the same time. _________________

2.4 GHz Processor
512MB RAM
DirectX 9 capable graphics card
Windows 2000/XP/ME/98

the preferred systems reqs aren't too high for an upper end game. and once my ram comes from fed ex i think i'll be doing ok and ready to suit up. _________________ |

whats a matter with your current one? Does it fit the case? or is it just time for an upgrade? _________________

heh, it all started with me just getting a video card, then I bought a powersupply, a new case, a sound card. I will probably end up getting another hard drive in the near future. Then eventually a new motherboard and processor _________________
