Well boys.....I'm afraid my favourite didn't even make the list!!!! But because i'm from eastern Canada.....you know my favourite is ALEXANDER KEITH'S. 'Cause...."Those who like it, like it a lot!"
He must have been the sexiest man to ever live to make the beer he did. Even sexier than all those ~:ID:~ boys!!!! _________________ (\_/)

VB or Carlton Draft
It's all about the Aussie beer - no-one else knows how to make it properly
I tried Bud Light a few weeks back - it is quite possibly the worst tasting thing I have ever put in my mouth. |

the only 2 guys here who know what real beer tastes like are Jfet and Pollux. they are the only ones who replied here that named Belgian beers.
You all know Belgium from it waffles, but we are also know all over the world for our beer.
Hoegaarden, duvel, stella artois are all Belgium beers, as is Palm.
and those are all commerialiced (spell?) beers. then i'm not talking about the hundreds of smaller breweries we have here in our little country.
Nanite once told me German beer is 10 times better then American beer. we find that German beer tastes like catpiss, so i never ever wanna taste US beers. no pun intended
Jfet Zener wrote: | although i classify none of those as the best, coors lite is the one of those i would drink regularly. other beers that i actually enjoy: shiner bock, mexicali, hoegarden, duvel, stella artois, paulaner, and of course guinness. it all depends on my mood i guess. |

ps. here's a website about belgium beers. there's a list on there with US importers, a list with the most known beers, .........
have fun. _________________ PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF =US-V= & VILLE $UPPORTER |

Any good Texan knows about it.

This is one from Holland. We had a pub down here that imported beers from all over. I liked this bottle so much, that the beer grew on me. _________________

I mentioned Belgen beer Im my post. And I agree they produce a great class of beer. But with the advent of microbrewies in the U.S. American beers are coming into their own. Having formly been a member of a beer tasting guild(when I consumed alot of beverages) I had the pleasure of trying alot of beers that most never heard of. The Highest scoring Ale based on taste test Is Red Seal Ale(Orgeon). Scoring a 96 out of 100. Next closest scored a 92. Still I prefer Porters (Petes Wicked Maple Porter) MMMMMMM my favorite.
Also If you can find it I recommend Sam Addams TRIPLE BOCK(hard to find and expensive). It is a non-carbonated liquor type of beer that comes in a Blue bottle that is corked. It is to be enjoyed as an appertife.Sipped in a brady sniffter. At around $8.00(U.S.) A bottle and around $140.00 a case It is truly a richmans BEER but well worth the cost.
It still comes down to a matter of taste. I enjoy heavy beers with bold flavor. That is why I prefer The darker ALES,PORTES and STOUTS.
As for Grolch Used to drink that STUFF by the case. LOL _________________ "Does another do me wrong? Let him look to it. He has his own disposition, his own activity. I now have what the universal nature wills me to have; and I do what my nature now wills me to do." |
