Hurricane Rita is headed right up our way, and the news last night showed us what a large storm serge might do to the island of Galveston. A Cat4 serge would pretty much put the island underwater and the move close to the inner loop of Houston. I know a lot of this hype is from what happen with Katrina, but Houston's last large hurricane was over twenty years ago as a weak Cat3.

I hope all of the H-Town people stay out of harms way and that everything works out for them. We should start seeing some bad weather around noon on Friday until noon on Saturday.

Aye here in austin it's gonna be nasty too, with all those huge rainclouds and 80 MPH winds comin in.

I don't think I would stay it looks like it is going to be as bad as Katrina or worse.

Stay safe everyone and don't be foolish and try to stick it out it's not worth it.

lol bullseye, i wanted to stay but they are now making us leave. Time to run i guess. Aaaaarrrr time to load up the tropical birds and leave my dod station lol. Anyway see you guys in a couple
