K, I'm out of the loop since a little while, but I still love this game. I'm planning to get DoD:S.... but I'm confused, sometimes it's free, sometimes it's not....
I bought HL2 in stores... so this mean I have to pay for DoD:S? I see it's 17$
Now what about those who didn't buy HL2.... how much is it then?

I did not buy HL2 and just purchased DoD-s for $17 through steam.
If you bought HL2 retail you have to purchase DoD-s through steam $17.
If you purchased the Gold or Silver edition through steam DoD-s was included.
I'm not sure on this part, I think if you purchased the Bronze edition through steam you can get DoD-s for $10.
I've heard DoD-s will also be avaliable retail by purchasing CS-s it will be included with that I think, but I don't think it will be avaliable until after the 26th.

Nope if you want the whole package you have to atleast buy the silver package via STEAM  .
