Yes you can buy it through STEAM

. Just look at browse games and you should see it in there.

Ok,

I just payed for and pre-loaded DOD: Source.....then I went to play the "regular" DOD....the game takes me to the server join page...then flickers off ....??????
Is anyone else having that problem??

Now I can't play DOD....

Any help will be great !!!!!

I'm having the same problem kixx, it goes to the welcome screen on the servers and the sound just loops and then the game goes away..

I've been running the pre-load now for about 30mins and it's only at 8.0% preload. I pick the wrong time to pre-load?

Same, sounds loops then pops back to the desktop. Time to checkout the flamewar on the STEAMing pile of crap forums.

Delete your Clientregistry.blob file then restart STEAM thats what worked for me.

Oh well I have had good luck with steam to date. sure it has had some troubles. but overall it has worked smoothly and without worry of updates.

Im sure that someone is staying up late to figure out why I CANT PLAY!
