DOD Update..

When the 2.1 patch is released and the majority of the lag bugs are fixed is when TV 2 will be switched over..

Krap, I HATE this. Stupid stupid download.

So far I've tried 3 SEPARATE times. One has been thwarted by my little brother, and the other two have been thwarted by freak power outages.

I am trying to dl DoD right now. I have a feeling I'll still lean more toward TFC though. Anyway I was wondering what names some of you play under. Do you keep the same names or make new ones. Just curious so maybe I could recognize someone.

Me too. I see no reason to change names, but of course that will be up to each of us.

Will the stats as we now know them apply or will it be completely different?

Well.. we may go ahead and change it over before 2.1. I've had major lag problems while playing, and I saw on this server where if you change your hisound to 0 it helps reduce the lag.. I tried it and it helped out my gameplay ALOT!! You does loose the great sounds though... they're still there, they're just not as crisp. Try it out the next time you play.. That is if you're having lag problems.. Type in the console
