Bah - tiger direct are (at least currently) not accepting international credit cards.
Any other decent online sites for laptops (preferrably that do accept international credit cards)?

don't buy an alienware laptop if you want a super high end one. there are other companies that buy the same parts from the same supplier and sell their laptops for less.
btw the free samples at costco rock

So how important is portability, battery life, performance, etc.... to you? I'm currently waiting for my laptop which is an ASUS V70 refresh. There are many many different laptops out there so you must narrow it down to your most important needs. For me GFX is very important but so is weight so I went with a 15.4 inch screen but it's 6.5 lbs. check out site like www.notebookforums.com or www.notebookreview.com. Its a hefty investment for most of us so research is necessary. Dells have teh 750 off sale pretty often so look around for those on fatwallet. good luck and let us know what you narrow it down to.
