See, that all depends on the person. Being fearless for me never ends up with good results. Now, being tricky and waiting to get people into a position where they can't shoot back - that's the way to do it.

Rates depends on your connection. What type of connection do you have? What are your speeds?
I use cl_updaterate 60, cl_cmdrate 60 and rate 20000 my connection is DSL 3MB D/L & 500KB U/L

I agree with replica, I oftentimes shoot randomly at people if they run at me with a shovel, as long as they catch me off guard that is. I try to jump and run backwards, and oftentimes die.

I'm running on a 1.5Mbit DSL. Normally I don't lag but yesterday it got bad at times. I was just wondering if adjusting the rates would help or if I should just wait it out.

Eh, I prefer to wait around a corner and whack them before they even know what happened. That, and from my own experiences, I always shoot down people who randomly charge me.

heh well the good things i get out of runing fearlesly towards the enemy is that sometimes i pull some freaking awesome kills that ar just too good to be true, but most of the times i will die of course, but when u do get those awesome kills u feel really good heh heh
