My processor (the 3700+) is a 2.4 GHz processor, but runs at an equivalent speed of 3700 (which is why they named it that), and will cost ya about $329.99 at newegg.com

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103539&CMP=OTC-Sm4rterDe4ls&ATT=Processors

My power supply will run about 90 bucks for ya, here's a link (it's 500 watts):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6764008687&category=80170

The box says the following:
Peak Ampereage is 34 Amps @ 12 Volts.

Also the power supply has special cables that make it so you dont have that nasty tangle of crap in your computer case. It's quite nice I must admit.

i have the AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Processor, runs at about 2.21 Ghz.

I just got my RAM today also, 1 gig, (512mbX2 dual channel) puts my total at 1.5 gb's ram. Gotta love Corsair.

wahtever the # is is saposed to be the equivelent of a normal processor running at the mhz. so a 2400+ would be like a 2.4ghz but its not actually clocked at that speed. at least thats waht my understanding of it is.

those are some nice parts there kopi and gurrg

Its supposed to be equivalent to a thunderbird (Athlon version 4) core. The 3800+ I have in my laptop would be the equivalent of a thunderbird core at 3.8GHz.
